Just realized that boss always have a meetings/discussion like a lot. Most of their working time is talk, talk, and talk. The work only done by the stuffs from various departments such as technical, IT, and etc. It looks like that boss only know how to talk but don't know how to get the work done.
But we need to consider that if we want to talk a lot in a convince and persuasive way, we must have an enough knowledge in our brain and base on experience that we have. That's why a good boss is a boss that already experience from the bottom position up to by one level to another level so that the boss will know how the flow of working procedure/technical. Hence, boss can answer and explain longer in details without stop when someone ask them questions. It is because they have enough thoughts inside their brains. A good boss should be like this.
That's why the boss will speak more in whatever situation whether inside a meeting, 4 eyes conversation, or even in a function. In easy way is that the boss know A,B,C,D,E,F until Z but the staff only know A, B, C. So that the boss will explain or give us a task in order for the stuff to learn about D,E,F,G and next. It looks unfair but staffs need to learn in hard and experienced by himself to gain it.
Of course the income of the bosses is more than the staffs due to their knowledge/experience and huge responsibility. If anything happen, everyone will pointed to the boss. It looks like the boss only know how to supervise but not taking an action right. But once you experience by yourself, you will why the boss ask us to do this and that, and tell us the wrongs here and that.
However, boss is not 100% correct and know everything. There are give and take between boss and staff.
