Miri: Part 2

Just notice that Miri have a lot of club and bar around the town. And during the weekdays it is still full of peoples.

Majority of residential units in Miri is a big bungalow house. Even the population is low and surrounded by deep forest, but it have all what we need in a town. Shopping complex is there, office is there, recreational area is there, all in one place. Short time to travel from here an there. That is the main advantages of small town.

One more thing is that there are a lot of O&G offshore plantation around Miri.

Miri: Part 1

Went to Miri, Sarawak for a small budget vacation this time to release working stress. Never been to Sarawak and this is my first time travel there. During on my way to Miri, I had a small chit chat with the person who was sit next to me. He is from Germany who travel all around Southeast Asia from Vietnam, Cambodia, and Jakarta. He said he like to travel alone as he can go anywhere and anytime that he like. He said again he like to travel in this region because of the weather, people, and cost of expenses is low compared to other place.

Okay back to my story, my early days at Miri is full of feeding a food to my stomach and have a nice conversation. After few months of not seeing any beach's breeze at last I got a chance to do it so in Miri. So heaven.

Try some of the local food there such as "Lelapan" and of course " Laksa Sarawak". It taste just nice but not so difference between food in KL.

Back Up Plan

In any plan that you want to do make sure that you have a back up plan since the early stage especially for the big plan. So that you will not react worried if the one that you plan is not working as you plan earlier.

This is what happened to me today and made my plan being stagnant and cannot being proceed due to some procedures that I cannot settle off. Consequently, it make my life harder and harder since almost nothing that I can do on that moment. You will waste your time, effort, money, or even someone surrounding you may be involve together. Don't expect to much and better sometimes you just go with the flows.

So moral of the story, please make sure you have a back up plan if you have a plan either a career plan, fun plan, chill plan, vacation plan, even a small plans that you do on daily basis.

Underestimate vs Overestimate

When peoples just know somebody or someone, some estimation from that person regarding what they can do will happened. Whether they can do this or cannot do this. Whether they are that that that or not not not. So, there will 2 types of estimation which is underestimation or overestimation.

In works for example, peoples usually will make a thoughts of what of this person can do and cannot do.

Zoo Negara

At last I went to Zoo Negara few days ago after a lot of years which is I forgot when was the last time I went to. Even it is near to my house but then just currently I got a chance to visit this place.

My comments here is that in comparison, Zoo Melaka is better in terms of the quantity, types of animals and how happening the zoo is. The animal show in this zoo is just average, nothing much interesting to watch but still can enjoy.

A chill and relaxing activities.

Anugerah Juara Lagu

Anugerah Juara Lagu or commonly known as AJL is already 26 years age with the latest show just few days ago. The age of this show is older than me. If we can see from the first year of show until now, we can see on how Malaysian music change/transfer and grown up in the terms of genre of music.

All major genres from the late 80's until now. We can see on the stage, music arrangement, lighting, visual, props, spectator capacity etc. From just a small stage with minus one until now an orchestra arrangement, awesome lighting arrangement, with nice props that I as Malaysian can proud off.

What I can say that Anugerah Juara lagu can be seen as the level of Malaysian music with current environment. Malaysian best 12 songs are sing alive in 1 night every year. Good idea that other country don't have.

Maintenance

Maintenance is the main thing to make a machines, buildings, or anything to sustain longer. With a right procedure of maintenance, that things will be functioning more longer.

As an example, lets take a look on KTM Komuter train in KL. Withing less than 15 years, many coachs are no longer not in use due to the technical problem. However, in comparison with Putra LRT 2-coach train is still can be use and still well functioning. Approximately, both train has the same age of manufacturing but currently we can see how was the these 2 different train look a like. It shows that how important of maintenance is. If we take a look outside Malaysia, the age of Subway London are over 100 years. But until now, there are no major damaged. In fact, there is nothing to show that the subway there is old. Again, we can see that maintenance has a important part.

Same goes with the buildings. Many old colonial buildings in Malaysia is abandoned and looks very terrible just like a haunted house where all the homeless drug addicts live. But if we just take a look at our neighbor countries, they can change the buildings into 5-star hotel where peoples are eager to stay. The building is still not change but the maintenance make it looks like new and urban.

Human also need maintenance. But the word maintenance is replace by word of healthy care. No offense to say that some races has a good type of foods where as other races are not. You can see from the healthiness of peoples from that races. It all depends on your food and lifestyle. Why most of poor people always have these strange and chronic illness? Why most of people who is wealthy with knowledge don't have a chronic and strange illness? It's all inside your head and how do you think and then how do you act.
